After starting a refinance with Wells Fargo, I was inundated with phone calls from other lenders after my credit was pulled. Initially, I was very upset with the unwanted calls coming in, one right after another. I answered this call with the intension of telling them to leave me alone. I'm really glad I listened to what they had to say. Jackie at Handshake Home Loans got me a MUCH better rate than the bank offered, less fees cash out, and a lower payment!!! SERIOUSLY! On top of that we started on 6/28 and my loan funded today on 7/23, LESS THAN A MONTH! She emailed, called, or texted at each step of the process so I was never in the dark. I could not recommend Jacqueline Marie Drenth and Handshake Home Loans more to you. You should, at very least, give them the chance I did at earning your business. You will not be sorry!

Jon Was absolutely a pleasure to work with. This was the only company that was actually able to work with me and my fiancé due to Covid messing up our credit score. Overall it was a really great experience it did take a little bit longer but we were able to get approved and closed and Jon kept us informed every step of the way. It was also very easy to get in touch with him and didn’t feel like we were getting the run around; he made it a very straightforward process. After attempting to refinance and being told I'd have to come out of pocket I stopped looking. I had a conversation with a good friend of mine who recommended William John Schneider "Billy". He reached out to me and was very understanding of my hours (I am terrible at picking up calls). He was so sincere and gave me all the information I needed to go on with this process. It literally took less than a month between getting all the info and closing. He was super professional, knowledgeable, understanding, and is just an all around great guy. I would highly recommend any one looking to refinance or do a home loan to reach out to Billy. He literally made the process so smooth, the hardest thing I did was open the door for the notary. Which by the way last time I closed I had to drive an hour to sign all closing docs. Definitely a great experience and he is recommended by me.

I was referred to Handshake Home Loans through a simple conversation with a co-worker and I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with them! This review is going to sound like a plant but I assure you it isn't. It's coming from someone who nitpicks almost everything when it comes to service.From the get-go, our contact Erin Tudi was immediately responsive and a complete pro. Whether by phone call, email, or text, she responded within a matter of mere minutes to all questions or inquiries. In today's day and age where unfortunately service seems to have taken a back seat almost everywhere, the level of customer service provided by her was above and beyond my already high expectations.The entire process from first contact to signing the closing documents in the comfort of our own home was 30 days! I had heard horror stories from other people about the lack of responsiveness and time to get things done from other companies and this had me concerned...but nope...not with Erin and Handshake Home Loans. Isai Guerrero Ramirez was extremely knowledgeable, truthful and transparent. We closed in about 35 days. Isai said he had the best deal for me and that I was getting the best deal and he was correct. During my refinance I shopped for the best loan estimates from Amerifirst financial, Blue Brick financial, Advantage 1st, Loan depot, and Penny mAc home loans.
